This program is my dream come true: become a student again (but just for a day) and enjoy learning for the sake of learning. No tests, no quizzes, no entrance exams. One Day University brings together top-notch professors from all these different disciplines and creates a day-long ‘course’. It’s absolutely brilliant.
Can’t say I miss being a full-time student, but I definitely miss going to class and learning on a scheduled, consistent basis. During undergrad days at Cal, I used to audit classes outside my major as much as possible. Those were some of the best courses because: 1) I didn’t have to pay for them and 2) didn’t have to take tests/worry about grades. Guess One Day U is my chance to re-live the classroom experience. There is a fee to attend, but I’m pretty sure it will be well worth it. See a sample curriculum below. I can’t wait to sign up for a course event.
